The Cabins & Lodge

You will feel as if you have slipped back in time as you step through the door. Built by hand, the cabins are reminescent of days gone by. Simply, sturdy furniture accented by rustic decor. The sense of warmth is tangible. In each cabin you will find a food prep area, living/eating space, bedroom and a front deck.

Comforts of home... The facility provides enough conveniences to take the work out of being in the wilderness. Each cabin has separate bedrooms ranging from one to four bedroom cabins. A cooking area and living space complete the facility. Bedding is provided, but please bring your own towels. In the kitchen, pots & pans and all the usual utensils are included. You just supply the food! Each cabin has a propane stove, and propane fridge/freezer. Each bedroom has a conventional mattresses, but cots with sleeping pads are available for any extra kids or guests in your party.

Each cabin has inside porta-potties, and of course there are good old-fashioned outhouses outside. Inside the cabins are electric powered showers: this means you heat water and fill a reservoir and flip a switch. Central to the facility is a wash-house with conventional showers, sauna, and staff only washing machine.

On cold days, the cabins can be heated with wood stoves. Just outside your door is a firepit and lawn chairs. All firewood is supplied, and is included in our rate. Although we have emergency electrical power, we prefer to use alternate light sources such as solar, battery, gas lanterns, candles and coal oil lights.

The lodge is magic in all seasons. Our full season is June to October. However, the facility is open year round for custom pre-arranged bookings, dependent on weather and road conditions. Please see our calendar for season specific descriptions, and contact us if you would like to book off-season.

RATES
Our rates are based on a per cabin basis. We have a minimum three night stay.

One bedroom cabin: $125/night minimum three nights
Two bedroom cabin: $200/night minimum three nights
Four bedroom cabin: $400/night minimum three nights

ASSUMPTION OF RISK
All guests must sign our Assumption of Risk Agreement and provide Guest Information. Click here to view and download this agreement.

DEPOSIT POLICY
A minimum depsoit of $50% is required to place a reservation. The balance is payable upon arrival. We recommend booking a minimum of 4 weeks in advance, but call as we may have room on shorter notice for small groups. Personal cheques accepted for deposit, but not for balance: certified cheques, money orders or cash accepted at lodge. In the event of cancelations which are received a minimum of three weeks before booking date, a refund will be returned less a 15% administration fee. No refunds for trips cancelled within 21 days of reserved date. Sheep Creek Back Country Lodge reserves the right to cancel any bookings at any time with a 100% refund.
